Founded on the back of £14,000 bank loan in 1989, C J Haughey Construction has become a well-established groundwork and civil engineering contractor, with a turnover in excess of £18million. Operating from a head office and plant maintenance depot in Coventry, the firm provides a range of services including Earthworks, Groundwork, Civil Engineering, Formwork, Concrete Flooring and External Concrete Yard Hard Standings.

The company won the groundworks category at the 2006 Specialist Contractor of the Year Awards. In 2007, Managing Director Chris Haughey won the Future Leaders In Construction award and the Entrepreneurship category G4C awards, which are aimed at recognising young achievers in the built environment.
